How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I had the opportunity to apprentice at "A1 Lock & Key Service" which opened in Tampa around 1949 and was taught by Master Locksmiths with over 100 years combined experience, it was there that I grew to appreciate the role that Locksmiths played in not only protecting people's valuables, but keeping them safe. I have attended SPJC (Now St Pete College) for Electrical Engineering Technology, USF for Electrical Engineering and most recently Eckerd College for Experienced Learners. I have since attainted the level of Certified Master Locksmith (CML), Certified Security Specialist (CSP) and International Fire Door Inspector (IFDI) from the Associated Locksmith's of America as well a being a "Perfect Raceway" Door Specialist with Warnock Hersey and Intertek Labs. I am also certified to open and repair GSA containers and Mas Hamilton X0 series locks.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have been serving the area since 1959 and our main source of advertising has always been word of mouth. We pride ourselves at being able to pinpoint both personal and business security needs while finding cost effective ways to solve them.

Same location since 1959.

We are located in the South Tampa Peninsula at 3245 W Bay to Bay Blvd just east of Dale Mabry Hwy between Himes and Macdill Ave's. Only 1 block from the Selmon Expressway
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept MC, Visa, AmEx, checks and cash
Which areas do you service?
Our normal service area includes South Tampa, Town and Country, Carrollwood, Downtown Tampa, Davis Island and Ybor City. But because so many of our customers have homes or businesses outside of this area, we find ourselves traveling to the rest of Hillsborough County including New Tampa and Brandon as well as St Pete, Clearwater and Tarpon Springs.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday thru Friday 9 am to 5 pm. Saturday appointments are available and we offer Emergency after hours service for regular customers.

As a company, the best compliment someone can pay us is to recommend our services to their friends and loved ones. We consider this both the highest compliment, and our greatest asset.
